Samurai Champloo

Initially interesting samurai story about a girl looking for ‘the warrior who smells like sunflower seeds’, who teams up with two ronin for her quest. Has “edgy” hip-hop references, and a cool opening theme.
Overrated. Starts great, but after a while seemed to lose commitment, just going on for the sake of it. The final showdown wasn’t written very well, and was kind-of a let down.
