Neon Genesis Evangelion: The End of Evangelion

Supposedly the real ending that Anno hadn’t been able to do for the TV series, this film messes with the character types a bit (Shinji was never that catatonic in the TV series, and never especially interested in Asuka), and goes for a big-budget take on the Fudged Mystical Ending (TM). I’m hoping the Rebuild films finally get NGE’s ending right, but I’m not optimistic.
